As you can tell from the name, Tremendous Upside Potential is a blog
about Chicago sports. It updates Monday through Friday (and sometimes on the weekends), and covers the
Bears, Bulls, White Sox, and Blackhawks. It occasionally covers Brett
Favre and the Cubs, but only when either does something very stupid.
TUP was
founded and is edited by me, Ricky O'Donnell, a 2009 graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a degree in journalism.
I have previously edited the
Fantasy Factor blog at the Chicago Sun-Times, and contributed to their Full Court Press blog. I also founded/edited
Top Ten Chicago Sports once upon a time, and wrote a weekly White Sox column for Steve Rhodes'
Beachwood Reporter. Now I cover high school games around Chicago for the Sun-Times, and help put up content at
