As out of the love as I've been with college basketball this year, I've really enjoyed the last few days. Filling out the bracket, listening to the four-part Simmons pod, and organizing a tourney pool actually had me excited to watch some college hoops. Even this morning, I spent some time counting down until the first game started. I figured I'd catch 20 minutes or so before I went to work. When it started, I checked online to see who actually was playing.
BYU (7) vs. Florida (10)...Nah.
I didn't even watch a second. Of course it went to double OT. Well damn me. Glancing at the ESPN front page, I also see Vandy bit the dust against Murray State. That's pretty funny.
So yeah. Any tournament thoughts, musings, or schadenfreude are welcomed in the comments.
