Do non-Bulls fans still hate Joakim Noah? If so, that's stupid. Joakim Noah is awesome, you see. His dance moves after Florida won the National Championship? Flawless. His NBA Draft fashion choice? Couldn't have been better. The things going on in these pictures? How could anyone be against that! And, of course, there's Noah's now legendary rip-to-dunk against the Celtics in the playoffs last year. Noah is pretty much the man. Need more proof? Look no further than the high-larious quote he gave Mike McGraw of the Daily Herald yesterday. The scene: it's Monday. The Bulls, losers of 10 straight before salvaging a win Saturday night against Philly, find themselves in a dog fight at home against Houston. The Bulls need to win this game if they have any hope of catching the Bobcats or Raptors and making the playoffs in the East. Yes, this is very important. The Bulls are playing well, but the refs are not reffing well. They don't seem to know the difference between a charge and a block, and this is upsetting, because, again, this game is critical. The refs are so lousy, in fact, that Vinny Del Negro starts flipping out and gets booted from the game -- the first time this has ever happened in his career. The Bulls press onward, and eventually come out on top, beating the Rockets 98-88. The United Center crowd didn't get free Big Macs though, so everyone booed. Bad times. Still, huge win and stuff. So after the game Noah tells McGraw (via BaB)... You mean VDN doesn't get the utmost respect from his team? Shocking!  GAH.Ah, Joakim Noah. Don't ever change. |
