I feel wrong bumping the Green Man .gif...  One of the best things about sports is unexpected win streaks by mediocre teams. It's improbable, it's thrilling, the team starts to develop an aura of invincibility the longer it goes, and, maybe most importantly, it's how crappy teams make the playoffs in sports movies (though their win streaks are usually under the assistance of a montage).Unfortunately, the Bulls' five-game winning streak is over. Seriously, such a bummer. Even worse? They lost to a team who didn't have an in-game at any point during the last five days. / Clipped. If you missed the game, Kaman wreaked havoc (21 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block) throughout as the Bulls played L.A. tight in the first half, only to pretty much lose the game in the third quarter. Eric Gordon led all scorers with 24. No Bulls player broke 19. Meh. Regardless, the Bulls have a soft schedule in February. And yeah, they fucked up tonight, but that's the nice thing about win streaks: you give yourself a margin of error to work with. Here's to hoping the Bulls can make it count. Random Notes - As I'm sure you've heard already, D-Rose dropped out of the Rookie/Sophomore game, but is the dunk contest in his future? "No. I can jump high, but I'm not that creative," he said.- Devin Brown made his Bulls debut tonight. He dropped 5 points. Nothing about his game really stood out. Though he did lead the Bulls in plus-minus -- +10! As Matt noted, it appears he'll be replacing James Johnson in the rotation. - Speaking of Johnson, I found out he's from Wyoming. Who knew? - Taj had a really sweet dunk over Kaman. Stacey King declared it a poster.  We'll go with a lower-case "byah" ... "byahhhhhhh!"

Did anyone else notice Taj took at least four steps before that throw-down on Kaveman?
I watched the replay five times in a row studying the steps. There were so many, I was convinced there was a through the legs dribble I had to have missed. But no.
