Ozzie Guillen's Twitter Account is Real, Adjust Your Life Accordingly
At first, I really didn't think @ozzieguillen was real. The account was verified when I started following it last night, but 20 minutes later it wasn't. Also, this was Ozzie's picture.
If you google the name Ozzie Guillen, that's the second picture that appears. Seems suspicious, right? (Also: when you use 'google' as a verb, is it capitalized? I need to know this!)
A little later, he changed the picture to a photo of his family and said something to @digitalroyalty, who's bio states she helps the White Sox develop social media strategies.
Ozzie confirmed it today: it's real and it's him (not his sons) that will be updating the account.
So yeah, this is going to be worth your time. If you don't do the Twitterz (highly understandable), at least bookmark Ozzie. If you really need to be persuaded (not understandable!), here's his fifth tweet:
going to eat in half hour why dye no have a job ?
Haha, hilarious! Almost too good to be true, but it is true, so that makes it legitimately awesome. Ozzie + the Internet means we're all winners.
Well, expect for Kenny Williams. He would be the only loser, and he's predictably pissed. Sez Cowley:
So this should be fun.
Also: the White Sox are apparently going to star in a 'Hard Knocks' style reality show on MLBTV.
Twitter and reality TV. Yep, it's still the first few days of Spring Training, but it feels good to have the Sox back in our lives.
