LeBron Recreates MJ's Switch-Hands Layup

by Ricky O'Donnell on February 3 at 1:16PM

You've seen President Obama taunt Magic Johnson with it at the White House, now watch LeBron pull off His Airness' classic layup in a game last night against the Grizzles.

Not nearly as graceful or aesthetically pleasing as Jordan's original. Final ruling: NOT IMPRESSED.

But seriously: I'm really glad LeBron did this last night, only because it gives me a Chicago sports tie-in to what I really wanted to post on this site, LBJ's borderline retarded chase down block on Rudy Gay. Boom.

I realize LeBron has plenty of haters - and probably with good reason - but don't these now-becoming-signature chase down blocks have to be the ultimate trump card if you're on the fence?

Sports and sports blogs are all about hyperbole, so here I go: this is easily the most exciting thing in sports right now. Someone challenge me on this! I mean, look where 'Bron came from to swat Gay last night. Humans shouldn't be able to do that to other super athletic humans.

LeBron gets called a "video game character" all the time: this is the best example of why it's an accurate description.
