Wow. I mean I would really like to see the 5 plays from last night better than that. Best dunk I've seen since TMac's off the backboard dunk in the all-star game years ago.
And since I have nowhere else to put it ... (no suggestions, please) :
Not to be cruel and insensitive, but hasn't the Gaines Adams grief-O-rama gone on long enough? Are reporters trying to make up for the fact that none of them had anything positive to say about the young man while he was still alive? I believe it's called, 'over compensating'.
"Look! We're not a bunch of heartless bastards after all. And, by the way ... he won't count against the cap next year."
Looking at the amount of print space and air time that's been devoted to his untimely passing, you'd have to agree that it's completely out of proportion to whatever impact he made, whether it was on the field or in the locker room, during the short duration of his stint on the roster. I understand that it's a slow news week as far as the Bears are concerned, and the upcoming 2010 season appears destined to be equally slow, but this week long tribute to Gaines Adams just reeks of insincerity.
Going by the number of daily testimonials and columns devoted to a player who's number nobody can remember, one would think that a plane carrying Dick Butkus, Gale Sayers, Mike Ditka, and the entire McCaskey family, had just slammed into a Colorado mountain top.

That's what I've been debating. I'm not so sure I want to be that accessible. But I'm thinking about it.
I guess that I'm not into the whole "inter-active / social networking" thing. For instance, I see no use whatsoever for something like Twitter, although it appears that everyone else can't get enough of it's lame nonsense.
From what I've seen and read about Twitter, it really must be the place to go if you need information like this:
"I'm brushing my teeth now. Wish I could have taken a dump this morning. I wonder what's for breakfast?"
Like I sould give a fuck what some moron like Chad "Mucho Stupido" has to say every five minutes?
Watching the Colts put on a clinic, it's saddening to realize just how far the Bears are from being anything that even remotely resembles a Super Bowl contender.
And as much as I like Thomas Jones, I don't think anyone is expecting him to break two or three tackles, and pop a 75 yarder. Not going to happen.

I could do that!
AP lead....
"PHOENIX -- Until a little over a month ago, Derrick Rose had yet to score 30 points in an NBA game.
Now he's done it four times.
Rose scored 32 points and the Chicago Bulls, usually one of the worst shooting teams in the NBA, shot 51 percent to win just their fifth road game..."
Uplifting, yet depressing.

I think Kevin Durant describes it best : http://twitter.com/KevinDurant35/status/8115740092
Wow.
He grazed his head on the backboard.
Another thing I noticed after watching it 10 times, Earl Clark stood up to cheer before he realized Rose isn't on his team.
Ok, Ricky ... what have we learned here?
Well; let's go to the map:
Writing 2,000 word soliloquies touching on a myriad of sports related topics = 0 replies.
Posting a video without saying hardly a fucking word = 7 replies.
Do the math.

It's a little much if you ask me.
