Blaming the officiating for playoff loses is kind of lame, especially a week after the series ended. But in a series between two teams as even as the Bulls and Celtics, I still can't help but think the Bulls got the shaft from the refs.
Last night, Rafer Alston got suspended for a game after slapping Eddie House in the head. In the first round, Dwight Howard got suspended for throwing an elbow at Reggie Evans. Were either as bad as what Rajon Rondo did against the Bulls twice?
Let's investigate, after the jump....
How did people live before YouTube?
Here's what Alston is getting suspended for tonight in Game 3.
.
And this is what Howard got suspended for in the first round.
I like to think I'm a pretty objective sports fan, but I really think Rondo's two fouls are at least as bad as the two above.
One last time, lets watch those two Rondo fouls.
On Miller.
On Hinrich.
Like Stompy said during the series, neither was probably as bad as anything James Posey ever did. And neither was as meaningful as the Hugh Hollins phantom call on Scottie Pippen in '94.
But I'm just saying...if Alston and Howard got suspended, Rondo should have been suspended for Game 7. Am I crazy to think that?

Rondo displays some questionable tactics for sure. Still well behind the dirtiest little guard in NBA history, Isiah Thomas.
