CHICAGO-- Commenter and part-time contributor Eddie Money has released an official theme song for the poorly written sports blog Tremendous Upside Potential. TUP Nation, the first single off the record BlogsByFans Greatest Hits: 1979-1994, was recently recorded in Money's dilapidated, kitten-infested apartment.

"I drew inspiration for this masterpiece from everything. I like to think of it as one part Abbey Road and two parts Wu-Tang Forever, with a hint of Is This It."

The album reportedly has a song for each blog in the BlogsByFans network. Though an offer has been made, there is no word yet if Sharon Jones and the DapKings will contribute to Stop Mike Lupica's song. TUP Nation by Eddie Money can be downloaded below for free.

Money noted that the editors of other BBF network blogs can give suggestions for their songs below.

This is clearly either the high point or low point in my life, but I can't yet decide which one.

Listening to that is like seeing a UFO. I have no idea what I heard but it has changed my life forever.

Recently coming home from a bar on Tuesday night, and accepting a bid to the TUP nation on Facebook, never have I been more ashamed or proud of being a member.

That theme song has lots of upside potential. Tremendous, even.

Seriously, for a moment there I swear I could see the strobe lights in TUP studios as the song was playing.

It's funny you mentioned my Sharon Jones post - I did get an e-mail from someone who read that post who was inspired, and was putting together a Sharon Jones beat over a Nas track... I heard the raw version of it, and I was feeling it. Maybe when he's done I'll get him to work on a theme song for the site.

In the meanwhile, when is the next podcast?!?

First off, let it be known that i do not endorse that Facebook group. I think that makes it the Unoffical fan club. I guess Albe had a lot of time on his hands last night.

As for the podcasts, I think I lost my microphone, so that could create a slight problem.

Jesus Christ, listening to that theme song gave me a stroke. At least the right side of my body is still working though.

I find that I can't stop listening to this song. Please make another podcast so this will make an appearance. Hey Rick, I have a video that is extremely NSFW but I want to make sure that you can embed it, I'll email it to you. -Woggie
