UPDATE: How about another kick in the groin while we're at it. Pau Gasol is going to the Lakers for Kwame Brown and Javaris Crittenton.

Is it possible that a 16-point road loss to the Timberwolves is officially rock bottom for the Bulls? Well, for most other teams it sure would be, but the first half of this season has been filled with so many low points it’s almost hard to quantify which is the worst. With the All-Star teams all set to go (no Bulls, fittingly), this terrible first half is winding down. Let’s recap all that went wrong:
Bulls start 2-10
It was nothing new for the Bulls under Skiles to start slow, but this year was supposed to be different. With everyone expecting no worse then a birth in the Eastern Conference Finals before the season began, the Bulls stumbled out of the gates and haven’t recovered yet.
Skiles is fired
Skiles firing on Christmas Eve was fairly shocking. To me, it always seemed like Paxson and Skiles were in this latest rebuilding effort together, but Skiles told management the team needed a new voice and out he went. Of course, things have been pretty much the same since Jim Boylan took over, an indictment on the roster rather then Skiles’ ability.
Noah fights Ron Adams, Griffin and Wallace suspend him another game
To me, this was as bad as it could get. The Noah/Adams altercation isn’t too troubling- rookies make mistakes and the one game suspension seemed appropriate- but what Griffin and Wallace did was insane. Wallace, clearly noticing that the rook was far more efficient then him when on the court, abused his right as a veteran to rally teammates to make Noah sit. Griffin seemed like he should be above this but apparently not. A move orchestrated by two bad and overpaid veterans showed just how dysfunctional the Bulls are this season.
Bulls get outscored 27-12 in the fourth quarter, lose to Knicks
Watching this go down was one of the most frustrating basketball things I have ever seen. A win over the Knicks is nothing special but is certainly satisfying, and it seemed all wrapped up. Then the Bulls went cold from the field and seemingly stopped trying, resulting in a fourth quarter collapse fitting of a Tim Floyd-coached team.
Bulls score 67 points against the T-Wolves, lose by 16
Yeah they played without Deng and Gordon but it doesn’t matter. This was just awful.

Hey feel free to write whenever by the way cause I'm pretty busy now, so if you have Bulls or Pats thoughts go ahead if you want.
Whats this "referrals" thing to the right on this website? And this trade proves there is no God.
Um we have lots of new improvements here including that nifty search bar. The referrals things shows where hits come from on the network as a whole.

This is awesome; I came on today to specifically ask you to make a post bitching about the Gasol trade and the T-Wolves loss, so I feel pretty fulfilled.
That said, MAN, the Bulls make me sad.
