- In case anyone's still paying attention, Josh Fields won AL Player of the Week. The 24-year old third baseman hit .524 with three home runs last week. That gives him 22 dingers on the season. Hopefully we can count on 30+ for Fields next season when he's in left field. Along with Thome's 500th, Buehrle's no hitter, and Jenks' save streak, Fields' performance has been one of the highlights of the season.
