As I said before, this website is expanding, as I've "hired" four fantastic new writers for this little website of mine. You already met Bobby Stompy, whose Big 10 column looks like a must read every week, and I'm proud to introduce you to our three other new writers right now. First up we have Dave, who'll be blogging about the Bulls and the NBA. He's either the second or third coolest Indian kid I know.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not very good at introductions, or pick-up lines for that matter.  The one pick-up line that ever worked for
me I owe entirely to Jon Garland and the irrelevant novelty known as interleague play.  Word of advice: don't bet against the guy who predicts a Garland rbi-single, especially when you're too inebriated to notice the
small "replay" graphic on the television (one of those "I'm on fire" kinds of nights).  But you guys aren't girls (mostly not girls, mostly) so I don't have to worry about impressing you.

Needless to say, much of my life has been intertwined with sports.  The
Godfather of TUP, Rickhouse himself, has asked me to cover the Chicago Bulls, as well as the NBA in general, for this prestigious and budding
website.  Like anyone privileged enough to be born during the eighties in Chicago, I'm a die-hard Bulls fan, the kind that sticks with their lover
even though they beat them senseless when they're down.  I mean, two men have made me teary-eyed in my life: Michael Jordan and Tim Floyd, both
for very conflicting and contradictory reasons.  To add insult to injury,
I recently awoke from a drunken stupor to realize that the previous night
I had paid a dollar on itunes to download John Tesh's "Roundball Rock"
(you know, the song from the NBA on NBC, the live version too no less).
Who does that?  Regardless, I believe I have a lot to contribute, from
opinions to obituaries, to the NBA blogging world.

I'm currently starting my 4th year as a history student, so writing is
nothing new to me; it's basically my job, although I have no real job in
my forseeable two year future.  Busy is an accurate word to describe my
schedule, but I'll be sure to write at least once a week.  Any idiot can
blog, so I'll try to bring something special to this website every and
any chance I get.

Whether it be NBA related, Bulls oriented, or just some outlandish thing
that happened to me, I'll be sure to post a blog that will leave you
entertained and knowledgeable. I'm new to the blogging world (But I did
stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night), however that has stopped
absolutely no one from "writing" before, so why start?

Anyways, I'm Dave, and I hope you will turn to TUP for any and all future
blogs about the rising stars in professional competition as well as the
Midwestern phenomenon called Chicago sports.money.jpg

Next we have the imfamous Eddie Money, who you may remember from 80's rock classics such as "Take Me Home Tonight". It's unclear whether Eddie actually knows anything about sports, but I'm confident that if he can kick his cocaine and stripper habbit to the side, he should be a solid contributor.

Eddie is excited about joining the TUP crew. He was a little confused because he thought this was a paying gig, and that he would get to sing everyday but is just happy to have a job. Eddie currently lives permantly at the Betty Ford Rehab Clinic and tours the country playing in front of sold out carnivals and county fairs. You are probably thinking, "What does Eddie Money know about sports?" Not much, he played sports as a kid but is so out of shape nowadays he cannot play any longer. Eddie does know sports players though. Eddie is a partyier and so are sports stars. When it comes to hanging out with sports stars and punching strippers, Eddie is an expert. Eddie is the originater of many things that sports stars do today. For example, making it rain, was invented by Eddie. Eddie ran dogfighting leagues before it was considered cool. Eddie also has fathered more children then the entire Los Angeles Kings hockey team combined. Also if you are wondering I, Eddie Money, am writing this in the third person.

Finally, I bring you the great Gordon Bombay, best known for turning Fulton Reed in the most tenacious hockey player the world has ever seen. He'll bring you thoughts and notes from around the NHL, and instantly becomes the most handsome member of this website.

My name is Bo, but through the blog I will be known as Gordon Bombay, the coach of the Mighty Ducks played by the best actor who ever lived, Emilio Estevez.  I am originally from the South Suburbs of Chicago but I am currently a student at Michigan State University, the home of the 2007 NCAA Men's Division I Ice Hockey National Champions.  I am majoring in physiology and psychology and I hope to soon go on to medical school and go into Naval Medicine.  I also work as an EMT in Michigan and do respiratory research in a lab here at MSU.

I have been a die-hard Chicago sports fan all my life, except for the Cubs of course, and truly enjoy the tradition and history of sports in Chicago.  My personal experience has mainly been involved with ice hockey.  I had the privilege of playing 3 years of AAA hockey for the Chicago Young Americans and Team Illinois before deciding to retire and make hockey less of a job by playing high school hockey.  I played in the Chicago Catholic League on a mediocre team and needless to say I only played for one year but I must say I wouldn't trade that one year for anything.

Throughout my years of playing AAA hockey I had the opportunity to travel the world playing with and against many guys who are now Division I stars and NHL prospects, some of which are already in the NHL.  I have a lot of respect for the game and the men who play it and I look forward to criticizing and commending teams, the league, and players through my writing.

So there you have it kids. Get ready for more face-melting blogging then you can shake a stick at. AND JOIN THE NFL PICK'EM LEAGUE. It's way cooler then the Sports Guy's.
