This was the big baseball story yesterday, and it’s enough to make me cry. This isn’t the White Sox being cheap, this is the White Sox being stupid. If they ever wanted to move Buehrle, I’m sure he’d wave that no trade clause in a heartbeat.
Which of these teams is better right now, your 2007 White Sox, or these guys? In related story, was I the only one that didn’t know Royce Ring is actually kinda good?
Since this season is over, it’s time for Sox fans to focus on the future. Here’s a look at Lance Broadway and newly acquired second baseman Danny Richar, who’s just tearing apart the minor leagues right now.
The main reason why I like the Noah pick: Pax knows he doesn’t give them inside scoring, so he’s still going to find another guy can give them that. They won’t try to make Noah into something he’s not, or ask him to do too much as a rookie.
With the NBA Draft I didn’t get a chance to mention this yet, but the Bears locked up Nathan Vasher. Some wonder if he’s really worth the money, but it’s clear the Bears wanted to lock up one their top defensive playmakers. Hopefully they’ll get a new deal done for Peanut soon, too.
How crazy is all this Chris Benoit stuff? And why hasn’t the Hit Man cut his hair yet?
NBA free agency is here. Could the Bulls go after Darko?
